My INT-II (INT-2) is not located by IQ for Windows Roll Call

This could be one of two issues

Issue 1: Serial Cable Pin 4 problem.

Some computers will hold Pin 4 high. When this happens the Interface communications will sometimes lock up. Removing Pin 4 from the Serial cable should resolve this.

Issue 2: Hardware Issue.

With some computers there is a communications error that occurs with the INT-II. This can be fixed by adding a line to the IQ.ini file in the IQ for Windows program directory.

Using a text editor like Windows Notepad open the IQ.ini file. and in the [PORT] section add the following line.

IgnoreCTS=1

	I am using an IQ Systems Interface with a USM-810 and USP-2 cards. The USM-810 Control Panel will not load in IQ for Windows and an error code of 16320 is displayed.
	I am using a 10k potentiometer on the USM-810 Control Port and it is not working.
	When running an IQ for Windows Roll Call the Interface is discoverd but no IQ devices are seen.
	What PIP modules are compatable with what amps?
	With two or more USM-810's in a IQ system engaging the preset in one of the USM-810's (that is not the Interface) causes the unit to lock up and go offline. Aftera period of time the unit comes back on line.
